A Life of Giving: Remembering Minister Sonia Malone

A Life of Giving: Remembering Minister Sonia Malone

                                                          AUDIO OF THIS BLOG

Few lives shine as brightly as that of Minister Sonia Malone, a faithful servant of God whose ministry at Global Life Church touched hearts across nations and generations. Her passing leaves a profound void, yet her legacy of love, generosity, and service continues to echo in the lives of all she encountered.

A Scripture That Captures Her Life

Minister Sonia embodied the words of Revelation 14:13 (AMP):
“Blessed (happy, prosperous, to be admired) are the dead who die in the Lord from now on! ‘Yes, blessed indeed,’ says the Spirit, ‘so that they may rest and have relief from their labors, for their deeds do follow them.’”
Her deeds indeed followed her—acts of kindness, missions of mercy, and a life poured out for others.

A Legacy of Generosity

Minister Sonia lived a life of giving. Just months before her passing, she sent financial support with missionaries to Cape Town, South Africa, ensuring that the people there could be blessed with provision. She and her husband, Walter Malone, traveled to Tortola, BVI, visiting a nursing home  and the Rainbow Children Home to bring food and comfort to the occupants.

Her ministry, Harvesting Souls for God’s Kingdom, was a source of blessing at home as well as in other communities. The Sunday before leaving for Tulsa she provided all the  poultry for the church’s Thanksgiving baskets.  In Tulsa, she planned to cook and feed the hungry on the streets alongside her family, —a mission of compassion that she did every year.

Her impact stretched across the globe:

Even in her final days, she was giving. She promised a turkey to a family friend and, just before her passing, sent the money via Cash App to fulfill that promise. At Global Life Church, nearly a quarter of the congregation testified to receiving something from her in the weeks before she left us. From the young to the elderly, everyone was touched by her kindness.

Service in the House of God

Minister Sonia was one of the faithful founding members of Global Life Church, serving for over 20 years as head usher. She worked tirelessly in the Hospitality Department, cooking and serving meals with love. She led the Friday prayer ministry for seniors, ministered at the Women’s Happy Hour of Power, and encouraged the body of Christ with her words and presence.

She was ordained as a Minister and served alongside her peers with distinction. As a “mother in Zion,” she nurtured the congregation with compassion, encouragement, and prayer. She always brought something to give—whether food, gifts, or words of comfort.

A Comforting Farewell

Minister Sonia Malone will be remembered for her love, caring, giving, and encouraging words. She will be missed for her motherly presence, her praying spirit, and her concern for others. My wife and I will especially miss the delicious Sunday dishes she often surprised us with, and the gifts she faithfully gave during Pastor’s Appreciation Month.

We take comfort in knowing she now rejoices with the saints who have gone before her—Mother Smith, Sister Leonise, Bro. Artneill, and others of great faith.

Condolences and Gratitude

To her husband, Walter Malone, we thank you for sharing Minister Sonia with us. You stood by her faithfully, even accompanying her on mission trips. May God reward you for your strength and partnership in ministry. We pray His grace will carry you through this season of mourning.

                                       MINISTRY OF MINISTER SONISA MALONE

To Sister Lavern, her siblings, and the Malone family, we extend our heartfelt sympathies. May treasured memories of this faithful servant of God sustain you, and may the overflowing love of the church family uphold you.

Minister Sonia Malone lived a life that was both historic and deeply personal—a life of giving, serving, and loving. Her deeds follow her, and her impact will continue to inspire generations at Global Life Church and beyond.

Tapping into Divine Acceleration

                  Tapping into Divine Acceleration

AUDIO OF THIS BLOG

Song for this blog: Divine Accelerationhttps://suno.com/s/kqR69VmZg0xmilDR

Acceleration is the supernatural ability of God to advance His people beyond natural timelines, limitations, and expectations. It is when the ploughman overtakes the reaper, as Amos prophesied: “The days are coming,” declares the Lord, “when the reaper will be overtaken by the ploughman and the planter by the one treading grapes. New wine will drip from the mountains and flow from all the hills” (Amos 9:13, NIV).

We are living in that day. God is shortening processes, collapsing delays, and bringing His people into sudden breakthroughs. His coming is soon, and He is granting access and acceleration to the believer who is aligned with His Spirit.

Why We Need Divine Acceleration

Scriptural Foundations

  • Isaiah 60:22 reminds us: “I am the Lord; in its time I will do it swiftly.” God is not slow concerning His promises.
  • Habakkuk 2:3 declares: “Though it linger, wait for it; it will certainly come and will not delay.” Delay is being broken in this season.
  • John 4:35 shows Jesus saying, “Open your eyes and look at the fields! They are ripe for harvest.” The harvest is ready now, not later.

How to Tap Into Divine Acceleration

  • Praying in tongues: Just as tongues strengthen endurance, they also activate acceleration by aligning us with God’s timing.
  • Obedience to the Spirit: Acceleration comes when we move at His prompting, not our own pace.
  • Faith declarations: Speaking God’s Word releases His speed into our situation.
  • Kingdom focus: When we prioritize His will, He accelerates our steps to fulfill it.

Rewards of Acceleration

Prayer

Father, in the name of Jesus, I thank You for divine acceleration. As I pray in tongues, align me with Your timing and speed. Let the ploughman overtake the reaper in my life. Collapse delays, redeem lost time, and bring me swiftly into the harvest You have prepared. Make me ready for Your coming, and let me walk in the acceleration of Your Spirit. Amen.

How to Survive the Shifting

                                 AUDIO OF THIS BLOG

LISTEN TO THE SONG:SURVIVE THE SHIFTING @ https://suno.com/s/zpWYf5KYFY16iJrZ

How to Survive the Shifting

The world is shifting. Culture is shifting. Values are shifting. Even the foundations of nations are shaking.
But God’s Word declares that His kingdom cannot be shaken (Hebrews 12:28). To survive the shifting, we must anchor ourselves in Christ, who is the same yesterday, today, and forever (Hebrews 13:8).

Abraham faced shifting seasons when God called him out of his homeland into a place he did not know (Genesis 12:1). Israel faced shifting when they moved from slavery in Egypt to freedom in the wilderness. The early church faced shifting when persecution scattered them across nations. Each time, survival depended on faith, obedience, and reliance on God’s Spirit.

The Shifting in Scripture

  • In Isaiah 43:19, God says, “Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert.”
Shifting seasons are not meant to destroy us but to reposition us for God’s purposes.

  • In Matthew 24:10-12, Jesus warned that in the last days, “many will be offended, will betray one another, and will hate one another. And because lawlessness will abound, the love of many will grow cold.”
This is the shifting of hearts and loyalties. To survive, we must guard our love and remain steadfast.

  • In Hebrews 12:26-27, Scripture says, “Yet once more I shake not only the earth, but also heaven… that the things which cannot be shaken may remain.”
Shifting exposes what is temporary and reveals what is eternal.

How to Survive the Shifting

Examples of Shifting

  • Joseph shifted from the pit to Potiphar’s house, from prison to the palace. His survival depended on integrity and trust in God.
  • Daniel survived the shifting of empires by remaining faithful in prayer, even when laws changed against him.
  • The disciples survived the shifting from walking with Jesus in person to living by His Spirit after Pentecost.

Prayer

Father, in the name of Jesus, help me survive the shifting of this age. When culture changes, let me remain steadfast in Your truth. When nations tremble, let me stand firm in Your kingdom. As I pray in the Spirit, anchor my soul, guard my heart, and strengthen my faith so I may not be moved but endure until the end. Amen.
