    Embrace The New Year

Embracing the New Year: My Miracle in 2025
    AUDIO OF THIS BLOG BELOW

“Behold, I make all things new.” — Revelation 21:5 (NIV)
As we step into the year 2025, we bid farewell to 2024. Whatever happened in 2024 is now a part of history. The sunrises and sunsets of last year will not return, but we are about to experience new beginnings, new opportunities, and new moments that await us every single day.

“Go to the ant, you sluggard; consider its ways and be wise!— Proverbs 6:6 (NIV)

Solomon's wisdom points us to the ant—a creature that embodies diligence, cooperation, and preparation. Ants work harmoniously together to build their colony and gather food, demonstrating a model of productivity and community. In 2025, let us take a page from their book and work diligently towards our goals, together as a community.

“See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? — Isaiah 43:19 (NIV)

God declares that He is doing a new thing in our lives. This transformation can occur within and around us, bringing about a new you—a new man, a new woman. God is inviting us to embrace new vision, new dreams, new desires, new thoughts, new dominion, new friends, new wealth, new purpose, new days, new weeks, new months, and a whole new year.

    The Question:
What are you going to do with all this newness that 2025 brings? There are 525,600 minutes, 8,760 hours, 52 weeks, 12 months, and an entire year ahead of you. How will you spend this gift from God?

    Conclusion:
This is a precious gift from God to you. Take every second, every minute, and every day as an opportunity to live purposefully. Spend your time wisely, unwrapping the potential within every moment. My heartfelt wish for you is to be a success and a blessing to yourself and to humanity in 2025.

May this new year be filled with God's grace, and may you walk in the fullness of His plans and promises for your life. Happy New Year!

The Universal Principles of Wealth Creation

The Universal Principles of Wealth Creation

    Introduction

Wealth creation is not just about accumulating money; it's about building a life of financial stability and prosperity through disciplined practices and strong character. Here are seven universal principles of wealth creation, illustrated with real-life examples, that can be materialized by men and women who embody the right character traits.

    1. Discipline and Consistency

To build wealth, one must consistently save and invest over time. Warren Buffett, one of the world's most successful investors, began investing at a young age and remained disciplined and consistent in his approach. His long-term, disciplined investing strategy has made him one of the richest people in the world.

    2. Continuous Learning

Wealth creation requires a commitment to continuous learning and self-improvement. Oprah Winfrey, despite facing numerous challenges, pursued education and personal growth relentlessly. Her dedication to learning and self-improvement helped her build a media empire, making her one of the wealthiest women globally.

    3. Diversification

Spreading investments across different asset classes reduces risk and enhances wealth accumulation. Ray Dalio, founder of Bridgewater Associates, emphasizes the importance of diversification in his investment strategy. By diversifying his investments, he has managed to build one of the largest and most successful hedge funds in the world.

    4. Hard Work and Perseverance

Wealth is often the result of hard work and the ability to persevere through challenges. Elon Musk, CEO of Tesla and SpaceX, faced numerous obstacles and setbacks in his entrepreneurial journey. His relentless hard work and perseverance have led to groundbreaking innovations and significant wealth creation.

    5. Networking and Relationships

Building strong professional networks and relationships can open doors to new opportunities and resources. Richard Branson, founder of the Virgin Group, has always emphasized the importance of relationships in business. His extensive network has played a crucial role in the success and expansion of his business ventures.

    6. Innovation and Creativity

Wealth creation often requires innovative thinking and creativity. Steve Jobs, co-founder of Apple Inc., revolutionized the technology industry with his innovative ideas and products. His creativity and vision transformed Apple into one of the most valuable companies in the world.

    7. Financial Literacy

Understanding financial principles and managing money wisely are fundamental to wealth creation. Suze Orman, a personal finance expert, has made it her mission to educate others about financial literacy. Through her books and television appearances, she has empowered millions of people to take control of their finances and build wealth.

    Conclusion

    1. Recognize the Importance of Character: Building wealth is not just about strategies but also about the character traits of discipline, hard work, and perseverance.
    2. Commit to Continuous Learning: Stay informed and continually seek knowledge to make informed financial decisions.
    3. Diversify and Manage Risk: Spread your investments to minimize risk and maximize potential returns.
    4. Leverage Networks: Build and nurture professional relationships to access new opportunities and resources.
    5. Embrace Innovation: Be open to new ideas and creative solutions that can drive wealth creation.
    6. Prioritize Financial Literacy: Educate yourself about financial management to make sound investment choices.
    7. Stay Persistent and Resilient: Wealth creation is a long-term journey that requires resilience and the ability to overcome challenges.
    8. By embodying these principles and character traits, anyone can work towards achieving financial prosperity and creating a lasting impact on their life and community. May these universal principles guide you on your path to wealth creation and success.

    Tribute To Damos Eloi

Message From Apostle Dr. Oral Hazell

Tribute To Bishop Dr. Damos Eloi

My wife, Everine, and I, along with the Global Life Church family, extend our deepest condolences to the family of the late Bishop Damos Eloi. He was a man who contributed immensely to the spiritual culture and economic well-being of Saint Thomas and the Caribbean islands.

My first acquaintance with Bishop Eloi was at the Apostolic Faith Church, where he served as an active youth leader, Sunday School teacher, and circuit preacher, ministering between the town church and the Smith Bay church. Pastor Damos Eloi was always jovial, high-spirited, and incredibly friendly. He greeted everyone with a smile and genuinely inquired about their well-being, their church, and their family. His personable nature made it easy to discuss anything with him, be it family matters, church issues, or even politics.

Pastor Damos Eloi was not just a friend but a co-laborer in the gospel. We labored together in the Caribbean Covenant Ministries organization, sharing many moments of fellowship in churches and conferences across the Virgin Islands and the Caribbean. He always delivered timely messages with revelation and impact, ensuring there was always a takeaway from his sermons. His ability to explain scripture in an understandable way, often with a touch of humor, made his preaching memorable.

We also ministered together on the radio program “Making a Difference” on WSTA, discussing pertinent issues that impacted the spirituality and physicality of the island. Pastor Eloi was always prepared to engage in meaningful dialogue that resonated with the community. Additionally, he played a crucial role in building the Living Word Family Church, fulfilling his dream of providing a place of birthing and rest for his congregation.

To the family of Bishop Damos Eloi, know that he has completed his earthly labor and is now in heaven, actively awaiting his crown and rewards for his work here. Be encouraged by these words:

"Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing." — 2 Timothy 4:8

“Look, I am coming soon! My reward is with me, and I will give to each person according to what they have done.” — Revelation 22:12 (NIV)

Everine and I extend our heartfelt sympathies to the Eloi family: his wife Rosemond Eloi, Tracy, grandsons, sisters, brothers, and his church family and colleagues in ministry. Bishop Damos Eloi was an extraordinary man, remembered for his friendliness, his ministry work, and his role as a marketplace prophet in St. Thomas and beyond. May he rejoice in heaven alongside the saints who have gone before him.

A tribute from the late Pastor Wilfred & Nancy Turnbull family to the family of Bishop Damas Eloi.

A tribute from the late Pastor Wilfred & Nancy Turnbull family to the family of Bishop Damas Eloi. He was not only a Pastor but a personal friend and fellow Pastor to us.

As you know, we started out in the Apostle Faith Church, where he was a Sunday School teacher, Youth Director and worked in many different ministries in the Church. He was an evangelist at heart and always had a stirring message for the youth. He had a great love for people; especially young people.

As the Youth Director, Eloi & Rosie often opened their home to the young people after Church for ice cream, games, fun & fellowship. They also would take the young people after Church to Diary Queen where they shared so many fond memories.

By now you know that Bishop Eloi loved ice cream and any occasion to fellowship. He also cared for so many young people in the Church and helped to raise the Charles family.

He took Driving School to a new level. You would see him early early in the morning working. ‘Everyone was precious’ to him and he actually had a slogan that said so. Pastor Eloi had an addictive laugh and he was quick to smile & laugh. He also loved to dance and was always seen on the floor of any Church dancing & worshipping; whether he was in step or not.

He was always giving and opened his Sanctuary to Global Church to meet while they prepared their own Sanctuary. He then sent his work men from his Church to assist when they first started. He was a faithful friend to our parents and was given the special privilege to call our Mother such an endearing name; ‘Sister Nan’. Bishop Eloi was always full of life and will be missed in the Church community and the community as a whole.

The Turnbull Family: Brain & Karen, Mona & Marcus, Noreen, Elerine & Julian, Everine & Oral, Wilmo, David & Judy and Evelyn & Issac send condolences and prayers to Pastor Rosie Eloi, Tracy Callwood & her family, his immediate family, & Church family and friends.

Youth of the Virgin Islands: A Call to Rise

    Introduction

To the youth of the Virgin Islands, you are our future now! You are destined to become our doctors, nurses, attorneys, surgeons, police officers, mechanics, pastors, governors, lieutenant governors, commissioners, captains, pilots, and leaders in every entity in the Virgin Islands. Your potential is limitless, and you can achieve the highest positions in any field, including becoming the CEO, director, or owner of companies and institutions.

    Filling the Gap

Life is a constant cycle of births and deaths in both high and low places. You are the ones to fill the gap left by those who have gone before you. When it is your turn, you will rise to fix the challenges that face us, whether it's the water and power authority (WAPA), the educational system, or any other aspect that needs improvement. As youth in the Virgin Islands, you may not have everything, but you are living in the best time in history with instant communication technology at your fingertips – cell phones, computers, iPads, and more.

    Harnessing Technology

You are living in a super tech age. There are websites and online resources ready to instruct you in subjects like math, English, and more. With these tools, you can stay ahead in your classes and excel in your endeavors. Use technology to boost your mental, moral, financial, and educational success, and to liberate your mind. Through cyberspace, you can explore the world and gain knowledge that will empower you.

A Brief History of Global Life Church

A Brief History of Global Life Church

Global Life Church of St. Thomas is celebrating its 25th Church Anniversary. For a quarter of a century, Global Life Church has been a beacon of hope and inspiration for the population of The Virgin Islands and the world. It all began with a few dedicated believers who prayed and gave into the vision of touching the souls of men, women, and children in our region.

To commemorate this historic milestone, Global Life Church will host three days of services. The celebrations will take place at the church located at 5-2 Estate Raphune along the Weymouth Rhymer Highway, St. Thomas. The services are scheduled for Thursday, December 5th to Friday, December 6th, 2024, with a concluding Sunday Service at 10:00 AM.
ur celebration is our distinguished guest, Apostle Alfred Tagoe of The Oasis Church, Columbus, Ohio. Apostle Tagoe leads the Oasis of Love Community Church, a non-denominational congregation that is Bible-based, Spirit-led, family-oriented, and community-focused. Their mission is to empower people through the love of God to attain their highest aspirations in His will.

Read my book on Amazon Kindle @ https://a.co/d/iXOBNMN

Global Life Church was founded by Pastor Oral and Everine Hazell on December 5, 1999, with a vision to become a church of evangelism and prayer; a family church; a church planting organization; a training ministry; a mission church; a media ministry church; and a church of praise and worship. The goals of the church are to become a beacon in the community, reaching the lost and sharing the Word of God; to become a spirit-filled congregation that permanently changes the lives of hurting people in the Virgin Islands and abroad; and to reach the hearts of men, women, youth, and children at home and throughout the world with the love of God.

Three historic hallmarks of Global Life Church are the hosting of Spiritual Explosion, When Women Worship, Hosting radio show on WSTA: Making A Difference and assisting the Department of Tourism in hosting VI Sounds of Praise—a time of praise and worship in the Virgin Islands on St. Thomas, St. John, and St. Croix after the COVID-19 crisis.
Over the past 25 years, membership has grown from 12 to many persons, both locally and globally, who are dedicated to carrying out the goals of the church while serving in various ministries.

Ministries  were established to ensure that the vision was accomplished. These included Missions, Evangelism/Outreach, Praise and Worship, Youth, Intercession/Prayer Walks and Drives, Children’s Ministry, Bible Institute, Women’s Ministry, Media Ministry, Marriage Maintenance, Men’s Ministry, Benevolence, Storehouse Ministry, Sick and Shut-In, Single Parents, Substance Abuse, and Prison Ministry.

The teamwork and networking of these ministries have resulted in significant accomplishments:

    1. Salvation and deliverance of souls.
    2. Mission trips to the Caribbean Islands, North America, Africa, and England.
    3. Evangelism outreach to the community, including the distribution of Bibles, clothing, food, and gifts to those in need.
    4. Marriage, youth, and family counseling.
    5. Healing and deliverance.
    6. Teaching and training seminars.
    7. Conferences featuring several of God’s servants from the mainland, Africa, and the Caribbean.
          8. Indoor and outdoor youth fellowship and outreach.
9.Community Outreach to the Celestino White Senior Center & Outreach Services at the Roy Lester Schneider Hospital.

Global Life Church services can be seen online on YouTube at the Oral Hazell Channel. Services are streamed live on Facebook every Sunday at 10:00 AM on the Oral Hazell page. We are also on CBN TV, a 24-hour TV network on the island of Tortola, streamed globally, and on the Caribbean Praise Radio Broadcasting Network, streaming live via TV, radio, and social media.

Come and join the 25th-year celebration as we set our sails to move forward with the ministry at Global Life Church. Services will be held at Global Life Church, 5-2 Estate Raphune along the Weymouth Rhymer Highway, St. Thomas, United States Virgin Islands. Admission is free. For more information, call (340) 774-5400 or (340) 244-2186, or visit www.globallifechurch.org.
