Annet Mary Newton Tinkasimire Akiiki

Annet Mary Newton Tinkasimire Akiiki a woman of unwavering faith and boundless love, was born on November 8, 1948, to Raphael and Dorothy Kasaija (RIP) in Kabagunda village, Kyenjojo District, Western Uganda. From her earliest days, Annet's parents instilled in her the values of education, integrity, and compassion, laying the foundation for a life of service and devotion.

Annet's journey into the professional world commenced at a tender age, as she pursued her dreams of becoming an accountant. At the age of 23, she achieved her goal, marking the beginning of a distinguished career in the Government sector. Her service spanned across ten different ministries and government departments, where she showcased unwavering commitment and diligence, leaving an indelible mark across ten different ministries and government departments.

Her dedication and exemplary service earned her the respect and admiration of her peers, while the favor of the Lord sustained her through every challenge and triumph. In 2009, Annet retired from her esteemed career, leaving behind a legacy of integrity, professionalism, and excellence.

Yet, Annet's contributions extend far beyond her professional achievements. Her spiritual journey took a profound turn in 1982 when she encountered a life-altering experience—the miraculous recovery of her son after fervent prayer. This encounter ignited a deep faith within her, leading her to dedicate her life to Jesus Christ. From that moment onward, Annet embraced her calling as an intercessor, standing in the gap for individuals and nations alike.

Guided by her newfound faith, Annet embraced her calling as an intercessor, answering the divine mandate to "stand in the gap" for her nation and its people. In 1983, she heeded the Lord's call to establish the prayer group "GAP" (God Answers Prayer), a beacon of hope and faith amidst Uganda's tumultuous political landscape.

For over four decades, Annet and her fellow prayer warriors fervently interceded for Uganda and nations worldwide, witnessing countless miracles, signs, and wonders as testaments to God's faithfulness.

In 1996, Annet's spiritual journey led her to a divine encounter with Judy Miriam Turnbull, a connection orchestrated by God Himself. United by their shared passion for prayer and ministry, their friendship blossomed, laying the foundation for a transformative partnership that transcended geographical boundaries. Through Judy's ministry and Annet's unwavering faith, they facilitated numerous initiatives including annual ASAPH conferences and cross-cultural exchanges, aimed at spiritual renewal and empowerment, touching the lives of countless individuals in Uganda and beyond.

Annet's legacy is one of unwavering faith, relentless perseverance, and boundless love. Her life exemplifies the transformative power of faith and the profound impact of divine connections.

"Man is three dimensional and we must treat based on this theory. Man can not only be healed from a physical perspective man would still be unhappy and miserable, some just concentrate on the mind that still does not work, thinking positive is not going to fix long emotional needs just exercising not going to fix the deep longing of finding purpose and true fulfillments".

The key is healing of the whole person so true purpose and destiny can be achieved and true life fulfillment.
