The Heavenly Technology Of
Making Decrees
God began His creative process with
a number of decrees.
The Force of God’s Voice
Psalm 29:4 tells us, “The voice of the LORD
is powerful.”
The Hebrew word for “powerful” means “force, might, strength, to be firm, full of vigor” (koakh, Strong’s 3581).
a.When God speaks, a powerful force is released that breaks things open and shakes things up!
b.The declarations from God’s mouth
change everything!
(the declarations from your mouth changes
things on the earth)
c.God’s declarations can break barriers,
create change, and establish His kingdom
on earth!
(all this can happen in our lifetime)
A.God used the heavenly technology
to make decrees to
create the earth.
God began His creative process with
a number of decrees.
1 In the beginning God created the heaven
and the earth.
2 And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.
3 And God said, Let there be light: and there was light.
4 And God saw the light, that it was good:
6 And God said, Let there be a firmament in the midst of the waters, and
let it divide the waters from the waters.
7 And God made the firmament, and divided the waters
which were under the firmament from the waters which
were above the firmament: and it was so.
9 And God said, Let the waters under the heaven be gathered together
unto one place, and let the dry land appear: and it was so.
10 And God called the dry land Earth; and the gathering
together of the waters called he Seas: and God saw
that it was good.
11 And God said, Let the earth bring forth grass, the herb yielding seed,
and the fruit tree yielding fruit after his kind, whose seed
is in itself, upon the earth: and it was so.
Expansion
a.In the beginning God spoke and the world and
everything in it was formed out of nothing.
b.The invisible became visible because God opened His mouth and spoke.
c.The impossible became possible because God made a decree!
The Heavenly Technology Of Making Decrees
1.The Power of Decrees
“Open your mouth with a mighty decree; I will
fulfill it now,
you’ll see! The words that you speak, so shall it be!”
Psalm 81:10 TPT
a.The act of making a decree is a divine command that invokes God’s power.
b. Our spoken words can shape reality and
initiate change in both the spiritual and physical realms.
2.The Significance of God’s Decrees
“My wonderful God, you are to be praised above all;
teach me the power of your decrees!” Psalm 119:12 TPT
a. By learning the power of His decrees,
we gain insight into how to align our words
with His will.
3.Decrees Set Progress in Motion
“By your decree everything stands at attention, for all that you have made serves you.”
Psalm 119:91 TPT
a. God uses the declarations of His people to bring forth His purposes on the earth.
b. Speaking forth His intentions can lead
to breakthroughs and advancements in
our lives and communities.
4.The Invisible Force of Decrees
Isaiah 55:11 (TPT) declares, “So also will be the word that I speak; it does not return to me unfulfilled. My word performs my purpose and fulfills the mission I sent it out to accomplish.”
a.When a decree is made, it creates a shift in the spiritual realm,
whether we see immediate results or not.
b. God’s declared word continues working until it fulfills His purpose, proving its
enduring power.
