Living on Purpose

AUDIO OF THIS BLOG

Living on Purpose: How God Plans, Keeps, Shapes, Completes, and Sustains Your Life

There is nothing accidental about your existence. You are alive today because heaven has an assignment attached to your name. Scripture reveals a consistent pattern: God plans your life, preserves your life, shapes your life, completes His work in your life, and causes you to flourish in every season. When you understand this divine rhythm, you stop living in fear and start living with intention.

1. God’s Intentional Blueprint for Your Life

Jeremiah 29:11 — “For I know the thoughts that I think toward you… to give you a future and a hope.”

Before you took your first breath, God had already written your story. His plans for you are deliberate, not random. Even when life feels chaotic or contradictory, His thoughts toward you remain good. Destiny is not something you manufacture—it is something God authors. Hope is not wishful thinking; it is the evidence that God has already prepared a future worth living for. You are preserved because your future is tied to His purpose, not your performance.

2. God Keeps What You Commit

2 Timothy 1:12 — “He is able to keep what I have committed unto Him…”

There is a supernatural safety that comes from surrender. When you place your life, calling, and dreams in God’s hands, they become untouchable by the enemy. Destiny is secure because God Himself is the Keeper of your assignment. Commitment activates divine protection—what you entrust to Him, He guards. You are alive today because heaven still has work for you to accomplish.

3. God Perfects What Concerns You

Psalm 138:8 — “The Lord will perfect that which concerns me.”

God is not passive about your life. He is actively shaping, refining, and maturing every area connected to your destiny. To “perfect” means to bring to completion, to mature, to develop. Delays cannot stop Him. Detours cannot derail Him. Difficulties cannot defeat Him. Preservation is part of His perfecting process—He keeps you alive because there are still things He is bringing into fullness.

4. God Finishes What He Starts

Philippians 1:6 — “He who began a good work in you will perform it…”

God is not just a Starter—He is a Finisher. The good work He began in your calling, character, ministry, and spiritual growth is guaranteed by His consistency. Divine preservation is tied to divine completion. You are not responsible for finishing yourself; God is the Executor of your destiny. Every unfinished area of your life is proof that God is still working behind the scenes.

5. God Causes the Righteous to Flourish

Psalm 92:12–14 — “The righteous shall flourish… they shall still bear fruit in old age.”

Flourishing is the visible evidence of God’s preserving power. His people do not wither—they grow, thrive, and remain productive. Age does not diminish destiny. Purpose continues until your final breath. Fruitfulness in old age is God’s way of showing that your life is sustained for impact, not mere survival. Preservation is not just about staying alive—it is about staying fruitful.

Closing Reflection

Your life is not held together by chance—it is held together by God’s intentionality. He planned you, He keeps you, He shapes you, He completes you, and He causes you to flourish. When you embrace this truth, you begin to live boldly, confidently, and purposefully. You stop fearing death and start declaring life. You stop questioning your worth and start walking in your assignment.

This is the rhythm of divine preservation—and you are living in it.

🌕 The Heavens Declare the Glory of God

AUDIO OF THIS BLOG

🌕 The Heavens Declare the Glory of God

Psalm 19:1 says, “The heavens declare the glory of God; the skies proclaim the work of His hands.” This is not poetic exaggeration. In Scripture, the heavens function like a prophetic billboard—God’s creation communicating His activity, His timing, and His sovereignty.

Celestial signs do not replace God’s voice, but they confirm, announce, or accompany His works on earth. They are not random; they are rhythmic, intentional, and deeply theological.

🌑 Blood Moons and Earthly Shifts

A blood moon—a lunar eclipse where the moon appears red—shows up in prophetic passages as a sign of divine intervention or transition.

Key Scriptures

  • “The sun will be turned to darkness and the moon to blood before the great and terrible day of the Lord comes.” (Joel 2:31)

  • Repeated in Acts 2:20 as Peter explains the outpouring of the Holy Spirit.

What It Signifies

  • Judgment: A warning that God is shifting eras.

  • Transition: A sign that heaven is marking a new season.

  • Awakening: A call for repentance and spiritual alertness.

Earthly Correlation

In Scripture, blood moons appear in contexts where God is:

  • Shaking nations

  • Pouring out His Spirit

  • Announcing a new covenant era

  • Preparing the earth for divine visitation

The pattern is clear: when the moon turns red, something on earth is being reset.

🌞 Joshua’s Long Day: When the Sun and Moon Stood Still

Joshua 10:12–14 records one of the most dramatic celestial interventions in history.

What Happened

Joshua prayed during battle: “Sun, stand still over Gibeon, and moon, over the Valley of Aijalon.” And Scripture says: “The sun stopped in the middle of the sky and delayed going down about a full day.”

Why It Matters

  • God altered the cosmic order to give His people victory.

  • The heavens responded to the prayer of a man aligned with God’s purpose.

  • A celestial pause produced an earthly breakthrough.

Earthly Outcome

  • Israel defeated its enemies.

  • A supernatural extension of time shifted the outcome of a war.

  • Heaven and earth moved together to fulfill God’s covenant promise.

This event reveals a profound truth: creation obeys the Creator when His people pray.

⭐ The Star of Bethlehem: A Celestial Announcement of the King

When Jesus entered the world, the heavens responded with a sign so striking that wise men traveled from distant lands to follow it.

Matthew 2:2

“We saw His star in the east and have come to worship Him.”

What the Star Signified

  • A King had been born—not just any king, but the Messiah.

  • Heaven announced what earth had not yet recognized.

  • Nations were drawn to the revelation of Christ.

Earthly Correlation

  • The birth of Jesus triggered a supernatural light in the sky.

  • The star guided worshippers to the exact location of the Savior.

  • It marked the beginning of the greatest redemptive act in history.

The heavens didn’t just decorate the moment—they declared it.

🌌 Patterns: When Celestial Signs and Earthly Events Align

Across Scripture, celestial events correlate with earthly shifts in several ways:

1. Announcement of Divine Intervention

Stars, moons, and unusual sky phenomena often precede or accompany God stepping into human affairs.

2. Confirmation of Prophetic Timing

Celestial signs validate what God has spoken through prophets.

3. Judgment or Warning

Blood moons, darkened suns, and atmospheric disturbances often signal divine warnings.

4. Transition Between Eras

From Joshua’s conquest to Jesus’ birth to the outpouring of the Spirit, the heavens mark the beginning of new seasons.

5. Alignment With Prayer and Obedience

Joshua’s story shows that heaven responds to the prayers of God’s people.

🌠 Why Celestial Signs Still Matter Today

While we do not build doctrine on astronomical events alone, Scripture teaches that:

  • God still uses creation to speak (Romans 1:20).

  • The heavens remain a prophetic witness.

  • Celestial signs often accompany global spiritual shifts.

  • They remind us that God rules over time, seasons, and nations.

A blood moon today does not automatically mean judgment, but it invites discernment, prayer, and awareness of what God may be doing in the earth.

🌤 A Final Reflection

From Joshua’s extended day to the star over Bethlehem to prophetic blood moons, the message is consistent:

When the heavens move, God is speaking—and the earth is shifting. Creation is not silent. It testifies, announces, warns, and aligns with God’s purposes.

THE POWER OF YOUR WORDS

MONDAY'S AUDIO BLOG

THE POWER OF YOUR WORDS

1. Our Words Are That Important

Matthew 12:36–37 (NKJV)

“But I say to you that for every idle word men may speak, they will give account of it in the day of judgment. For by your words you will be justified, and by your words you will be condemned.”

Jesus reveals that words are not casual—they are recorded, weighed, and remembered.

“Idle words” include careless comments, unguarded reactions, sarcasm, criticism, and murmuring.

Words expose the condition of the heart; they reveal what is hidden beneath the surface.

This passage is meant to awaken us, not condemn us—Jesus is calling us to holy awareness.

Every word has spiritual weight; nothing spoken is insignificant in Heaven.

2. We Have Been Cleansed

Romans 8:1 (NKJV)

“There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus…”

Believers stand justified—fully forgiven, fully cleansed, fully accepted.

The judgment we face is not the “great white throne” judgment of sinners.

Our judgment is the béma seat—the mercy seat of Christ—where rewards are given.

The Blood of Jesus covers every sin, including sinful or careless words.

God’s remembrance of our words is not to shame us but to refine us.

2 Corinthians 5:10 (NKJV)

“For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, that each one may receive the things done in the body…”

This judgment is about reward, not punishment.

Jesus evaluates what was eternal versus what was empty.

Words that were fleshly burn away; words that were Spirit-led remain.

3. Our Words Matter Just Like Our Actions

1 Corinthians 3:12–15 (NKJV)

“…each one’s work will become clear; for the Day will declare it… the fire will test each one’s work…”

Words are part of our “works”—they will be tested by fire.

Idle, destructive, or fleshly words become wood, hay, and stubble.

Encouraging, faith-filled, compassionate, and prayerful words become gold, silver, and precious stones.

Words shape atmospheres, relationships, ministries, and destinies.

Heaven keeps record of every word spoken in love.

4. The Weight of Our Words

Matthew 7:2 (NKJV)

“For with what judgment you judge, you will be judged; and with the measure you use, it will be measured back to you.”

Critical, mocking, or slanderous speech grieves the Holy Spirit.

Many call their criticism “discernment,” but it is often disguised judgment.

We must not curse what God may be blessing simply because it is unfamiliar.

Different does not mean wrong; style does not equal sincerity.

Words spoken against ministries, leaders, or movements carry serious consequences.

The measure we use becomes the measure Heaven uses toward us.

5. Your Testimony Is Precious

Proverbs 18:21 (NKJV)

“Death and life are in the power of the tongue…”

Salvation is secure, but testimony can be damaged by careless speech.

Jesus’ warning was aimed at the proud, not the humble.

Words can build or break your witness before others.

A pure testimony is a powerful evangelistic tool.

God calls us to steward our speech as part of our calling.

6. Let Us Guard Our Lips

Psalm 19:14 (NKJV)

“Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be acceptable in Your sight, O LORD…”

Guarding our words is an act of love, not fear.

Every word is heard in Heaven—spoken before the King.

When we fail, we run to the mercy seat, not away from it.

Speaking life is a daily choice, empowered by the Holy Spirit.

God desires our words to reflect the price He paid for us.

Conclusion

Words are spiritual seeds—every one produces a harvest.

Idle words are forgiven, but they may be burned away as worthless.

Life-giving words become eternal treasure and heavenly reward.

Guarding our speech protects our testimony and honors Christ.

The mercy seat awaits us with love, not shame—so let our words reflect His heart.
