TRIBUTE TO REVEREND DENNIS ESTRIDGE

AUDIO TRIBUTE

TRIBUTE TO REVEREND

DENNIS ESTRIDGE

On behalf of the Global Life Church family and the Caribbean Covenant Ministries (CCM)

family of the Virgin Islands, I extend my sincere condolences to Sister Rachel Estridge, the children, the extended Estridge family, and

the beloved saints of the St. John Pentecostal Church.

“The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves

those who are crushed in spirit.” — Psalm 34:18

In this moment of deep sorrow, may the God of all

comfort surround you with His peace.

 A LIFE OF UNWAVERING SERVICE

Reverend Dennis Estridge was truly a man of God, a shepherd with a heart full of compassion, and

a servant who gave his entire life to the

work of the Kingdom.

For over forty years, he faithfully traveled from

St. Thomas to St. John —
weekdays and Sundays, in sunshine and in storm,
carrying the Gospel and caring for the flock God

entrusted to him.

From the humble house church in Cruz Bay,

he nurtured the ministry until it grew into

the thriving congregation now established

on Gift Hill Road.

He and Sister Rachel built the ministry from

the ground floor up, with prayer, sacrifice, and

unshakeable faith.

 A LEADER IN THE TERRITORY

Reverend Estridge was more than a pastor — he was

a territorial spiritual voice and a respected

community leader.

  • Senior Pastor of the St. John Pentecostal

  • Church of God

  • Known for his dynamic, charismatic preaching

  • Called upon for gubernatorial inaugurations,

  • legislative ceremonies, and territory-wide

  • civic events

  • A foundational voice in

  • Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Day celebrations,

  • closing with stirring benedictions that inspired

  • the Virgin Islands

His voice, presence, and leadership shaped the spiritual

landscape of St. John and beyond.

HIS LEGACY WITH CCM — A FATHER

TO PASTORS

For over twenty years, Pastor Estridge labored faithfully with the

Caribbean Covenant Ministries (CCM) fellowship.
He was:

  • A pillar of encouragement to pastors and leaders

  • A steady voice of wisdom

  • A man who carried a genuine heart to touch lives

  • A mentor who strengthened many hands in ministry

His presence in CCM was not passive — it was foundational.
He uplifted, inspired, and supported leaders across

the Virgin Islands.

HIS LOVE FOR ASAPH — A TRUE SUPPORTER

Pastor Estridge will be especially remembered for his

faithful leadership and support of the ASAPH group, led by Prophetess Judy Turnbull.

He was:

  • An ardent supporter of ASAPH in St. Thomas

  • A consistent encourager of worship, intercession,

  • and prophetic ministry

  • A spiritual father who believed in the next

  • generation of worshippers

His voice, his prayers, and his presence strengthened

ASAPH and helped shape its impact.

 TO HIS WIFE, SISTER RACHEL

Sister Rachel, you walked beside him with grace and strength.
Your partnership in ministry is part of the legacy

he leaves behind.

“God is not unjust; He will not forget your work

and the love you have shown Him.” — Hebrews 6:10

May the Lord uphold you with His everlasting arms.

 TO HIS CHILDREN AND FAMILY

Your father was a giant in the faith —  a man who lived

with integrity,
loved deeply, and served wholeheartedly.

May his memory be a guiding light and a source of strength.

TO THE ST. JOHN CHURCH FAMILY

You have lost a shepherd, a father in the faith,
a warrior who stood on your island’s soil and declared

the Word of the Lord for decades.

His teachings, his example, and his love for you will

continue to live on.

“Be steadfast, unmovable, always abounding in

the work of the Lord.” — 1 Corinthians 15:58

A LEGACY THAT WILL NEVER FADE

Reverend Dennis Estridge will be deeply missed —
by his family,
by the CCM fellowship,
by the ASAPH family,
by the St. John community,
and by the wider Virgin Islands whose lives he touched

for the Kingdom of God.

His life was a sermon.
His ministry was a testimony.
His legacy is eternal.

PERSONAL WORD FROM

APOSTLE ORAL & EVERINE HAZELL

My wife Everine and I extend our heartfelt sympathies to you,

Sister Rachel, and to the entire Estridge family.

May the memories of this extraordinary man sustain

your hearts, and may the outpouring of love from the

community bring you comfort.

“Precious in the sight of the Lord is the

death of His saints.” — Psalm 116:15

Reverend Estridge has finished his course.
He has kept the faith.
And now he rests in the presence of the Lord

he served so faithfully.

(From Apostle Oral Hazell, Global Life Church

& Caribbean Covenant Ministries Family)
