    2. Worldview Prayers

  1. We pray for God to intervene and stop the crimes against humanity, such as genocide, torture, slavery, trafficking, and oppression, that are happening in many parts of the world. 

  2. We pray for the victims to be rescued, healed, and restored. 
  3. We pray for the perpetrators to repent and face justice. (Psalm 10:17-18; Isaiah 1:17; Micah 6:8)
  4. We pray for God to expose and uproot all forms of crimes, such as theft, fraud, violence, murder, rape, and corruption, that are plaguing our societies.

  6. We pray for the law enforcement agencies to be effective, honest, and courageous in their work. 
  7. We pray for the courts to be fair, impartial, and swift in their judgments. (Proverbs 21:15; Ecclesiastes 3:17; Romans 13:3-4)
  8. We pray for God to break the power and influence of gangs, cartels, mafias, and other organized crime groups that are terrorizing and exploiting people. 
  9. We pray for the members of these groups to be converted and transformed by the gospel of Jesus Christ. 
  10. We pray for the communities affected by these groups to be protected and empowered. (Psalm 94:16-23; Isaiah 61:1-4; Acts 9:1-22)
  11. We pray for God to prevent and heal the wounds of mass shootings, bombings, and other acts of terror that are causing fear, grief, bedlam, confusion and trauma. 

  12. We pray for the survivors and the families of the victims to receive comfort and support. 
  13. We pray for the authorities to find and stop the perpetrators and their accomplices.
  14.  We pray for the root causes of these acts, such as hatred, extremism, and mental illness, to be addressed and resolved. (Psalm 46:1-3; Matthew 5:4; 2 Timothy 1:7)
  15. We pray for God to deliver and set free those who are addicted to drugs, alcohol, gambling, or other harmful substances and behaviors
  16. We pray for the drug dealers, smugglers, and producers to be caught and stopped. 
  17. We pray for the rehabilitation and recovery of the addicts and their families.
  18.  Pray for the availability and accessibility of effective treatment and prevention programs. (Psalm 107:13-16; John 8:36; Galatians 5:1)
  19. We pray for God to reveal and remove the corruption, bribery, nepotism, and embezzlement that are undermining the integrity and accountability of our governments, institutions, and leaders.
  20.  We pray for the whistleblowers, journalists, and activists who are exposing and challenging these practices to be protected and supported. 
  21. We pray for the reform and renewal of our systems and structures to reflect God’s righteousness and justice. (Proverbs 29:4; Amos 5:24; 1 Timothy 2:1-4)
